Is that a herd of grackles? They stopped off here on their way North just a few days ago, filling my neighbor's tall oak tree with their creakings and squeakings. If it's a crowd of crows, it's probably the darker side of nature...they gather together to harass owls or hawks. (A tundra owl was spotted here in Washington this week!...he/she first came to the attention of observers because he/she was being mobbed by crows.)
