- driving down into town, we came upon an Easter Egg Hunt, and the traffic cop was wearing plush rabbit ears.
- going on the horse-drawn wagon ride at "springtime at the farm" at Billings Farm and Museum.
- sitting in on a lecture on heirloom seeds, and getting some to bring home (green nutmeg muskmelons, Jacob's cattle beans).
- the little boy who said,"great job, horses!" to Jim and Joe the Percheron team.
- the lambs, two weeks old.
- the beautiful Jersey calves.
- the awesome lunch and ice cream dessert.
- discovering Noushka, a new shop in downtown Woodstock. AWESOME.
- browsing for fishing gear at Gillingham's and getting reacquainted with the shop cat.
- meeting a variety of very nice shop dogs. Four different dogs, at three establishments!
