wonderland

indoors
outdoors

A grace from the Maine potato farmers...

"God bless us every minute.
Take a potato and begin to skin it.
One word's good as ten.
Hoe in.
Amen"

Feeling very wintery here, after dodging the bullet
several times this winter.
Let's hear it for root veggies, squash and the onion family!

And remember, there are little things under the ground,
waiting to sprout, green up and rejoice....
Patience, dear friends...

  1. Hope you're all staying safe and warm under a blanket of beautiful snow! It's just been very windy here, no snow at all...the thermometer claims it's 36 degrees but the windchill makes it feel like it's in the teens.

  2. Hi Karen, So beautiful! I'm visiting my Dad in Conn. and the snow that fell melted as it hit the ground. My husband is home in Maine and said all of the snow is gone after torrential rain. Crazy! Oh, how I love root vegetables, especially potatoes! Take care!
