I've always remembered what Barbara Kingsolver did when she was having trouble digging out of gloom - she'd stare at something really beautiful for a long time until she felt better. Her example was a red geranium, but orange works...what good company you keep!
Orange is such a good color. I haven't found any studies to support the idea, but I am convinced that it even raises serotonin levels!
