a moment of silence at 11 EST

as we remember those who died,
what are we called to do?
in what ways can we turn away from fear 
and embrace the power of love?
i am in the midst of these questions.

    it's a shame that it takes an incident as terrible as this to make people wake up and realize how extreme the political rhetoric has become and what a polarizing effect it has had...
