surrender

-down for the count since sunday night, with a nasty stomach flu. fever broke last night. still exhausted.
-batman is in brazil this week (probably a good thing).
-our winter weather has taken a nasty turn. looks like our neighborhood is iced in.

-sometimes, my schedules, calendars, responsibilities, "to do" lists
just have to be let go.
-thanks for the reminder, once again, mother nature...
i am not in control.
got it.

-henry has been by my side the whole time. he is ever vigilant.
-i wish i could train him to run downstairs to brew a cup of tea.

-hope all of you are safe and cozy and well.

  5. Sorry you have not been well. If you figure out how to make a cat a servant, please advise. Wouldn't that be something!?

  8. So sorry to hear that the stomach bug got you. It's tough to feel so miserable and be on one's own...very glad Henry is there for warmth and companionship. Hope you are taking in lots of fluids and will be feeling better soon! (If you had a little electric kettle you could make water for tea upstairs....not as good as Henry making tea for you, but easier on you than having to go downstairs when you don't feel like moving but want something hot and soothing.)
