true?

I think the most significant work we ever do,
in the whole world, in our whole life,
is done within the four walls of our own home.
-Stephen R. Covey

Home is where we raise our families, gather with friends, nourish body and soul, hang out with beloved pets, do chores, set priorities, recharge our batteries (after we do our work out in the world)...what else?

Do you think the work we do within the four walls of our own homes is significant?

  2. It is absolutely the most significant work in the world.

In my neighborhood in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, one of my neighbors has a wooden carved sign over their doorway that reads, "Home Is Where Your Story Starts."

Even though there are only two people within these walls, we do our best to renew, restore and recharge.

  5. Absolutely! Because what we do between the four walls spreads out beyond when we leave home . . . I'd like a slice too! Looks so good!

  6. No doubt! What we build here affects everything we bring to the world, do for the world, for good or ill. Now that I'm a mother and raising kids in two cultures, as well as balancing our family culture with the dominant culture here, I believe this more than ever. On a lighter note, your bread looks delish!
