thank you!

oh, dearest friends.
i am so grateful for all of your recent, encouraging comments.
batman and i have been burning the candle at both ends here in CT...
with a new power washer,
a broom,
trash cans,
paint brushes,
screw drivers,
squeegees,
hoses,
aching muscles
and a grateful partnership.

it is good, hard work,
and it needs to be done,
and it is so purposeful and intentional.

and transformational.

i just stumbled upon this irish proverb
and i love it...
You'll never plough a field by
turning it over in your mind.

  1. Great proverb! I spend too much time turning things over in my mind rather than actual plowing!

  3. Irish proverbs are great!
In Holland we would say: "Niet praten, maar poetsen". Or: "Geen woorden, maar daden".

    Cheers!

  4. And I'd like to tell you that I like the Shaker Hymn very much, as well as Forrest Church's words!

  5. Your pictures, your words, and your deeds are equally inspiring, and a powerful triumvirate!

  6. I think that quote deserves to be cross stitched and hung over my desk. Thanks for that.
Yes, a true partner transforms even the humblest task.
