i see it...

...peeking out of the woods.
 ...in my pile of board reading.
...moving from the garden to the kitchen.
...and tempting the birds.

hints of AUTUMN.

    Those first bits of color in a sea of foliage, a shift of sunlight, days becoming shorter... But still a bit of lovely summer to enjoy!

    Here it's the same, the mornings are fresh and there is a smell of autumn in the air. I LOVE autumn, the colors, the not so heat weather, the fruit.....

    Yes, yes, yes. I'm feeling it here, too. I'm hoping it will be long and lustrous, plenty of time to enjoy sweaters and soup and tramping through the fallen leaves.
