snow at last.
overcast outside, cozy inside.
cyclamen, amaryllis, hyacinth and paperwhites on the windowsill.
a busy soup pot.
handsome grouse eating crabapples in the trees and
finches, juncos, chickadees and cardinals at the feeders.
ravens bossing everyone around.
after months and months of disruption
it's finally beginning to feel like
home sweet home.
