the sky

batman pruned the apple trees today.

and wilma soaked up the sunshine on the bathroom windowsill.

and we ordered seeds for the garden and 

all the snow we got last week is melting.

the road is muddy and neighbors are getting their taps ready.

and the sky is the most intense blue.

 a blue true dream of sky

so blue that i still become overwhelmed

by the beauty that arches over my life.
