I hid in my kitchen today too, making up a batch of ghee, a batch of yogurt, some chickpea flour crackers and Swiss Chard and White Bean soup!

It was bread all week here, four loaves in five days, to eat and to share--toast, grilled cheeses, warm with honey, egg sandwiches for dinner. And then a decadent batch of chocolate cupcakes frosted with Nutella!

Stew's teaching partner and his wife went to Egypt this past September to teach at the international school in Ciaro. With communications cut off we haven't been able to get any updates from them. It is worrisome...
