a reed family jigsaw puzzle of comings and goings

• Friday and Saturday were filled with productive board meetings.
• Breakfast with dear, long-time friends, then on to Meeting for Worship and a walk back campus (a chance to stretch my weary legs!) on Sunday morning.
• On Sunday afternoon, I fetched Gretta (my navigator) at the Columbus airport as I headed East (she flew in from Knox College, via Peoria, IL). We met up with Hannah in Cambridge, OH for Mexican supper and hanging out at the hotel. Giggling and gossiping ensued.
• First thing Monday morning we had a quick visit with my grand-kitty, Javier, and we loaded up the Batmobile with some of Hannah's stuff and we drove all the way back to CT. Hannah will head back East with the rest of her stuff in a few weeks.

Tomorrow there will be some long overdue basting here, and finally a bit of SEWING. It seems like a long time since I "sew and sowed" here...
