advice from wilma

Okay.
Now let's get our feet back under ourselves,
dust ourselves off and get on with things, shall we?

The most beautiful season in Vermont is unfolding
right before our very eyes.
There are veggies to harvest,
new garden beds to be dug,
a quilt top nearing completion,
good work to be done out in the world...

Let's take a deep breath and get out there and
#persist!

What, dear readers are you doing to persist?
Inspire me!

  2. Hi Karen! I'm trying to make something every day to create some beauty to lift my soul. Also volunteering with my husband at a place which provides beds and household necessities to those trying to start a new life. And doing my best to spread around a bit of kindness here and there. Small steps...

  3. I wish I was in Vermont soaking up the wonderful scenery! I am just living life and taking care of my health more - cutting down on the carbs and eating quality protein and veggies. I feel mentally strong just by simply improving my diet. :)

    1. OOOOOOOOH! I am eating more carefully too! It does make a difference, doesn't it? Shall we be wellness buddies across the ocean? xo

  4. My family received some very bad health news lately. I am reading your blog and listening to ON Being. Myra Kalman was on last week. She says she's often afraid in life but tries to look for beauty everywhere, especially in trees. I took a walk today and took time to really look at the trees.

  5. I am remembering that my life is good. Practicing gratitude for that miracle. Offering support where I can, whether financial for a disaster or a shoulder for a friend. Being more present every day.
