  25. Ooh, I've been wanting to make a christmas wall hanging. I don't know what pattern, but my mother-in-law has several of them up in her house and I just love them. They are so festive. I think I'd go for a snowflake or snowman scene.

I didn't use to be all that into christmas fabrics, even though I love Christmas and fabrics... but that's because i didn't have ideas that involved them. but then again, i never do stuff for myself, only for others, so... suddendly... i figured: hey who loves Christmas even more then me? my mother-in-law, of course!!! and she's so great, she deserves it all. that's why i'm going to make her an apron and a tablecloth and napkins and possibly some pot holders all in christmas-ish fabrics and i know even if it turns out corny she'll absolutely love them!!!

  65. It's the first Christmas we are spending in our first home and our brand new baby girl. So I've got to make it look as festive as possible.   76. I would make stockings. A local group recently filled 10,000 stockings for overseas troops, and I made twelve of them. The goal for 2010 is to stock up on Christmas fabrics during the post-Christmas sales, and make stockings all year long!

  130. Here in Denmark we hang Xmas stockings from the 1st of december and every morning the children awaken to find a little present in their stocking.
    Only I have not been able to find any decent holiday fabric in the local sewing shops, so for now we've hung their nissehuer (santa hats) instead.
    If I won your PERFECT prize of holiday fabric and trimmings, I'd be able to finish in style - and have perfect stockings to hang for the next many years :)
