the storm

he was trying to tell me something about mother nature.
(she'll have her way with you!)
while i was trying to stay calm and focused.
alas, my flight tomorrow morning was cancelled.
conference calls, rebooking and plan b will help get me there.
better late than never.

deep breaths.

how's your week going?

  1. Sorry your flight was cancelled, Karen...and glad you have a plan B! I haven't seen any squirrels since Monday, when there was one squirrel up on the feeder...i hope they are tucked into a warm nest someplace, maybe with lowered body temps so they can sleep until the weather improves. My week has been weird--Monday (after the weekend's huge snowstorm) we were expected to go to work...if we wanted to telecommute, we had to exchange it for our regular telecommute day. I declined and took annual leave. Tuesday i went to work; because the rest of the federal government was off, the traffic wasn't bad at all and the roads were fairly decent except at both ends of the commute. Last night we had another snow storm and today we actually were closed (wiser heads at last prevailed). I had planned all sorts of fun things to do on my snow day but mostly spent it shovelling (again). Did at least get to play in my stamping studio for a bit!

  3. Hope Plan B is working out for you, and as for your last question, the answer is, don't ask!
