this time of year is so very fleeting
and magical.
and in the very midst of these miracles,
there is also a profound sadness at the death and
destruction in too many places in the world.
it's a challenge to live in between
the bliss and the despair.
so i take some cues from the sage...
...last to surrender in the winter, and first to
grow green from the deadwood in the spring.
and the hellebore...
...she blossoms under the snow
and stands sturdy for weeks and weeks.
quiet inspiration.
and an affirmation.
to say yes to every day.
Thanks for bringing a little bit of nature and hope across the internet . . .

Yes, may we all find the strength to stand sturdy every day... or almost every day...
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat's why I think being among the green and growing things is one of the best things for one's psyche.

by all the beauty of the awakening season
Oh this feels so good after the long winter
of isolation and cold and loack of color
I need green and flowers
