from the coast to the woods

Mt St Helen from the Wildwood Trail in Portland, OR.
Douglas fir.
So lush and magical.
We were listening for crows and coyotes and bandits...
...and looking for Prue, Curtis and Mac.

I am walking into it with courage and faith.
How about you?

  1. Looks like a magical adventure!
So glad you had this time with your family.
    Happy New Year, Karen! xo

  2. Love your pictures, though I'm typically listening for bobcat and bears, not bandits. :) Also, I don't know Prue, et al ... is this a favorite book series of yours?

Finally, I think I'm entering 2013 with hope, gratitude, and faith. I'm hoping courage will follow.

  3. Happy New Year Karen! Yes, I too am entering 2013 with faith and hope. Love your photos and thanks for introducing me to a new book series!

  4. Hello Karen, I just discovered your blog and just wanted to say it is very lovely. You have a beautiful and spacious sewing studio. I enjoyed seeing your Out West Photos. Is the book The Lepine Girls of Mud City a fiction or real story?? I visited your state a couple of years ago and loved it. Hugs Judy
