This is our 6th annual tree planting weekend. Many thanks to Lindsey and her beau, Scott, for helping with this year's 100 balsam seedlings. (We mated the hoses from our CT house with those we have up here, and now watering has become so much easier! We used to haul gallons and gallons of water but the bucket full.)

ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful tradition. It must smell heavenly there! xo
ReplyDeleteI say again what a tremendous amount of work it is, but thank you! Hope this tradition soothed your troubled spirit a bit.
ReplyDeleteToo rainy for planting in the driftless region just now. But soon we will also be planting our evergreens. Your photos are encouraging!
ReplyDeleteOur life was eased by combining our city and country hoses last summer. Amazing.
