Hmmm. From our neck of the woods (Central NJ), I would include some local honey, some herbal teas, some homemade chocolate from a small shop in Princeton, and some handmade shibori napkins that are sold at the closest farm market in the summer.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely collection! Perhaps a small hand-carved wooden spoon, definitely some local honey (oh, a local honey collection would be wonderful), a bag of old-fashioned candy from Mast General Store, a hand-thrown mug and a black bear sticker!
ReplyDeleteI live on Maryland's Eastern Shore. I'd include a bottle of wine (maybe two - a red and a white) from Crow Vineyards, which is 20 minutes up the road; some Eve's Cheese, made of milk from cows that live 15 minutes up another road; some lovely bread from Evergrain Bakery, 5 minutes away in town; and the CD of a concert at The Mainstay in Rock Hall, one of the best jazz "listening rooms" on the East Coast, which is 20 minutes down that other road. I guess I'd have to include a jar of Old Bay Seafood Seasoning, too, even though crabs aren't in season right now.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win your giveaway! So many nice treats! live in Louisville, Kentucky so I guess I should include a tiny Louisville Slugger bat, a tiny bottle of bourbon, something from Churchill Downs/The Kentucky Derby (maybe a julep cup?),a recipe for Louisville Hot Browns and I should probably also include some Kentucky blue grass seeds!
ReplyDeleteI'm from the Boston area. Some local honey and popcorn from my CSA share or yarn from our winter farmer's market and maybe some PATRIOT's gear for your Superbowl viewing!
ReplyDeleteI'll play but do not enter me as I have been lucky to win something in the past.
ReplyDeleteI am from Eastern Washington State known for dry land farming so my gifts would be a selection of lentils, garbanzo beans, wheat berries and split peas, a 2019 calendar depicting the scenery of where we live, some English walnuts that we grow on our farm, our heirloom garlic, and some combed top from our Icelandic sheep for spinning or felting.
