This is so cool. I love that you chose to include these beautiful leaves in an art project...knowing full well they will become brittle and dry. I am sure there is a metaphor in there for life....but my brain is too tired to articulate it tonight! I am happy to see your creativity via AEDM.
Life can sometimes be a wrestling match between love and fear. We can CHOOSE which to embrace. Every day. On my "to do" list? Breathe, hope, notice, invite, love,
create, wonder, celebrate.
feel free to add a link from my place to yours, but please do not use the words and images on this blog in any other way without my written permission. to do otherwise is not nice and illegal as well. thanks.
ooo, gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Karen!
ReplyDeleteDid you sew over the actual leaves?
Love it!

You are a gifted titler, too!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. Could those be actual leaves? If so, will they crumble as they dry or did you do a special treatment?
ReplyDeleteLove those leaves! I have the urge to hold onto the last of the colors as the trees stand empty here - what a great idea1
ReplyDeleteUm, yes, these are just plain leaves that I stitched right over. And yes, they will become brittle and dry...check back later in the week. :-)
