seed saving

we had a bumper crop of wax beans this summer.

at the end of the season, batman pulled up a few plants
that had gone wild and hung them in the woodshed to dry out.
this past weekend he harvested the seeds and we will
put them away until the spring when we'll plant them...

do any of you save seeds?

everyone is safely back to their regular lives,
after fun times at "a bit of earth".
laundry, errands and chores for me tomorrow...

and gretta and i will dig into our season of
holiday artsy craftsy extravaganza.
we will try not to argue over the sewing machine :-)
(it's really fun to have her back home for a bit!).

  1. I have enjoyed your photos this month. I do save cone flower seeds each year.
