AEDM:day eight and other stuff

"sock class homework"
first things first, the ribbing at the cuff.
that's my art for the day.
"sabbath"
i filled my spirit in a new place (new for me),
where the music was provided by the crackling in the fireplace
and the cawing of crows overhead.
"autumn minestrone"
eating clean food
from Moosewood Reataurant Daily Special.
off to take my brand new walking shoes on their first outing, in the sunshine.
then back home again to hang out with my very good friend, henry.
hope you enjoy the day, too!

  1. A cozy post, Karen.
The first photo is so pretty, and Henry looks handsome as always.
We must be on the same wavelength. You'll know what I mean when I post later on!

  3. Looks like you have had an amazing time in and out and about and I can appreciate being outside more than being indoors sometimes though they have their equal value in different ways. :)

    Happy Every Day Month.

Todays post is not found on my blog due to it being visible to people who can see it. A Birthday card for a friend:

  4. Not just a bit of art -- but an artful life being lived. That soup looks so cozy and perfect for autumn.

And Henry, oh, he's so lovely. I just wanted to pick him up and cuddle him -- although he might not be the type of kitty to enjoy random cuddles. He looks so regal and dignified, like my Leo, and sometimes with kitties like that, only one very special chosen person gets the cuddles ;)
