scraps+needle+thread

playing with reverse applique today.
sometimes hand-stitching is imperfect and spontaneous. 
and a little pocket of calm in an ordinary day.

    Oh, but the imperfection is wonderful! Love these bright spots peeking out of linen! And the hand stitches are the icing on the cake!
