apple tree pruning at "a bit of earth"
Here's Lindsey and her Papa, pruning apple trees in the old orchard at "at bit of earth" in Vermont this past weekend. She's a crazy woman! And here's Peter, out on a limb.
Many thanks to Lindsey's friend Dave for sharing his pictures with us. And many thanks again to Lindsey and her Boston buddies for all their help.
How wonderful to have such jobs to do outdoors in the sunshine while the snow melts! We too were in our backyard today weeding, pruning and cleaning out. It was marvelous to feel the warm rays on our backs. The children are eager gardeners. Happy spring! ~Emily
The view from your place is wonderful! If it was me pruning the apple trees, i'd be on the ground with the pole pruner...Lindsey up in the tree made me go "ulp"!
Life can sometimes be a wrestling match between love and fear. We can CHOOSE which to embrace. Every day. On my "to do" list? Breathe, hope, notice, invite, love,
create, wonder, celebrate.
feel free to add a link from my place to yours, but please do not use the words and images on this blog in any other way without my written permission. to do otherwise is not nice and illegal as well. thanks.
