And the fun thing is, I'm guessing that when the other kids see this blog, heads will nod in Oregon, Indiana and Massachusetts, and each will say out loud, "Oh, yeah, that's what I'm talkin' about"(or the current version of that phrase).
And here's the menu for supper:
pasta alfredo
peas (that can be mixed into the pasta, or not)
salad made with iceberg (!!!) lettuce
magic bread
marmie's special chocolate birthday cake
ice cream
After school, we are going to town hall, so that Gretta can register to vote, a big deal in our house. She has been wanting to do this for as long as she understood what it meant.
Gretta was a stubborn soul 18 years ago, taking her own sweet time coming into this world. But she is a gem, we call her the exclamation point at the end of our family.
Happy birthday chickadee! You and your sibs are the best thing your Papa and I have done with our lives.
Oh yucko, what a breakfast, *lol*! My mother always said that if i had children, they would only want WonderBread and Hostess Twinkies since i'm so into healthy cooking and eating :). Happy Birthday, Ms. Margretta! Congratulations on registering to vote, and enjoy your yummy birthday dinner!
